Sports Illistr, err Illuminated

Welcome to my Sports page.  This is where you can find the latest sporting news, and hear me rant and rave about how good Wisconsin teams are.  (If you're not laughing, you should be.)

Congrats to the World Champion Milwaukee Wave!

Yes, it may be in indoor soccer, but it's still cool.  I was lucky enough to go to a number of games this year, including their excellent finish, and they won every one I went to (they only lost 3 at home this year).  Winning game 5 in Milwaukee at the Bradley Center in front of over 15,000 fans was awesome.  The good news is that everyone will be back to defend the title next year!  Plus, defenders Keiderman and Moxom should be back from injury, and no one knows how much longer King and Victor are going to play...  For more information on the Wave, and on the NPSL in general, check out...

Congrats once again to the Wisconsin Badgers!!

They had a heck of a year in nearly all of their sports.  Particularly...

Won Back-to-Back Rose Bowls!  (First Big Ten team to ever do so!)
Made it to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament before falling to the eventual champion, Michigan State.

Check out Badgers Plus for more.

  The Brew Crew

Yes the brewers are retched this year.  Every game I go to, they show me another way to lose.  Like on May 21 when after they battled back to tie the game 5-5, their excellent pitching staff went and gave up ELEVEN runs the following inning.  So sad...

More soon...

The Bucks just ended their season, but have a lot of work to do in this off-season.  If they can trade Glenn Robinson, I say do it!

The Packer's season is coming up.  Will all their off-season changes pan out?  Who knows...
